How does the AI detection work?
SkinVault uses advanced ONNX machine learning models that run 100% on your device:

How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your SkinVault Pro subscription:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select SkinVault
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Are my photos stored anywhere?
No, absolutely not. This is our core privacy promise:
- All AI processing happens on your device
- No photos are ever uploaded to any server
- No internet connection required for scanning
- Detection results stay only on your device
- We have zero access to your photos
Why does the app need photo library access?
SkinVault needs access to your photo library to scan your photos locally. iOS requires this permission for any app that works with photos. However:
- You control which photos to scan
- Processing happens entirely on your device
- We never upload or transmit any photos
- You can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings
How do I hide detected photos?
SkinVault Pro users can hide photos to iOS's built-in Hidden album:
- Scan your photos to detect sensitive content
- Review the detected photos
- Select photos you want to hide
- Tap "Hide" to move them to iOS Hidden album
Hidden photos are protected by Face ID/Touch ID in iOS Settings.
How do I restore my purchase?
If you purchased a subscription but it's not showing as active:
- Open SkinVault
- Go to Settings
- Tap "Restore Purchase"
- Sign in with your Apple ID if prompted
This will verify your subscription with Apple and restore your Pro access.
Which iOS devices are supported?
SkinVault requires iOS 15.0 or later and works best on devices with Apple Neural Engine:
- iPhone 8 and newer
- iPad Air (3rd generation) and newer
- iPad Pro (all models with Neural Engine)
- iPad mini (5th generation) and newer
Newer devices (iPhone 12+, M1+ iPads) will have significantly faster scanning.
The app is slow. What should I do?
On-device AI processing speed depends on your device:
- Newer devices (iPhone 12+): ~200ms per photo
- Older devices (iPhone 8-11): ~500-1000ms per photo
Tips for better performance:
- Close other apps to free up memory
- Make sure your device isn't overheating
- Restart the app if it becomes unresponsive
